Just as Stella was about to be tortured, the Gryphon stormed into the dark winged beast’s lair and pierced its outer shell with the crimson blade. The Beast uttered an agonizing cry. Though critically wounded, it still retained enough power to pursue the Gryphon into the skies, where they would fight once more.
